COMPEX Scholarship Scheme Embassy of India Nepal

The COMPEX Scholarship Scheme is there to provide the admission to the undergraduate or Plus 2 passed students to get enrolled in MBBS who are self financing, Engineering Bachelors Course, Bachelors in Pharmacy, B.Sc. Agriculture Dairy Technology (in short B.Sc. DT), Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry and B.Sc nursing. These scholarships are provided by Embassy of India for the various educational institutions and Universities in India.

The eligibility criteria of COMPEX Scholarship Scheme are as follows:  

MBBS: To get scholarships for MBBS students should get 60% marks in aggregate in Grade XI and XII. The students should also get 50% marks in English in Class XII. Another condition is they should get at least 60% marks in each subject i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Class XII.

BE: For the students to get scholarship for the Bachelors of Engineering they should get 60% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Class XII. Students also need to get 60% marks in subjects mentioned below i.e  Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class XII.

B.Sc Agriculture: For the students to get scholarships in Bachelors of Agriculture students should get 60% marks in aggregate in grade XI and XII and 50% marks in English in Class XII. The students should get at least 55% marks in the below mentioned subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Class XII .

BVSc & AH: For the students to get scholarships for BVSc and AH 60% marks in Plus two and 50% marks in English in Class XII is must.  55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Class XII .

Pharmacy: For the students to get scholarships in Bachelors of Pharmacy, the 60% marks in aggregate in Plus 2a nd 50% marks in English in Class XII is must. Students also need to get 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in Class XII.

B.Sc in Diary Technology: The students should have 60% aggregate in plus 2  and 50% marks in English in Class XII . They should at least get least 55% marks in each subject i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics  in Class XII.

B.Sc Nursing: For the students to get scholarships in B.Sc Nursing and to be eligible to apply for the scholarship they should get 60% aggregate in Plus 2 and 50% in English in Class XII. They should also get  55% marks minimum in each subject Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Class XII.

The age of the applicants in above streams should be in between 17 to 22 years of age.

Selection Process:

The selection process of Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme is the candidates are short listed from their academic record and performance. Then after the short-listed candidates are called for the interview from phone. The selected candidates are notified from phone and students are request not to call the Embassy of India for this issue.
For Silver Jubilee Scholarship Scheme the notice will be opened in the November and December every year. The notice is published in the local news paper and if you have internet access you can visit official website of Embassy Of India Nepal. The website is www.indianembassy.org.np. Interested candidates should be in touch with the news papers and website of Indian Embassy regularly.

Interested candidates are also requested go through the instructions  and fill up and submit the form with the required documents within the listed date.
